The benefits of active learning in the classroom are widely acknowledged in a variety of areas of the curriculum. Not only does it allow core curriculum subjects such as maths to be taught in a fun and engaging way, but increases physical activity in children when meeting recommended standards is challenging.
Join us for ‘The 360 Active Maths Challenge’! In partnership with Maths of the Day, our ambition is to deliver over 300 fully funded Active Maths workshops to multi-school groups, clusters, and MATs in 18/19 academic year. The workshops, delivered all over the country, will upskill over 4000 teachers, providing research and practical ideas to implement active maths across the curriculum.
These workshops are for any groups of schools, including:
- Multi-schools
- Clusters
- MATs
- SGO areas.
If your group/cluster would like to host a group workshop, please contact the ‘360 Challenge’ Coordinator Sophie Cloudsdale for more details on sophie@motd.org.uk or 01244 735110. Please note, a minimum of 10 different schools is required for training to take place.
